Q: We're already missing our backyard and barbecue! How we can bring the outdoors in for the winter?

Tamara says...
First, plant an indoor herb garden and use outside sills to display seasonal plants—kale offers great colour in the fall and early winter. And dine as you would on the patio: Barbecue year-round and garnish meals with fresh herbs from your indoor garden. Adorn the table with candles and a hurricane lamp to cast a garden glow. Liven up interiors by incorporating get-happy colours in bold cushions and throws, and photos of bright blooms in black frames. And don't save fresh-cut flowers for special occasions—enjoy inexpensive varieties every day of the week.
