Q: My wife only drinks Sauvignon Blanc, and I prefer Chardonnay. Any compromise?
Dick says.... Try Grüner Veltliner, which is widely grown in Austria. It has the acidity and zing of Sauvignon and the mellower, smoother character of (non-oak-aged) Chardonnay.
