Prince Charles Worries About Negative Impact Of Will And Kate's Tour

OK, this one has us scratching our heads: Word is Prince Charles has expressed his concern that Will and Kate's recent North American tour turned into one long media photo-op, and that their celebrity image may overshadow the work done by other senior royals.

Mirror reports that "sources close to Charles, 62, say that on the one hand he is delighted the couple received the same welcome he and Princess Diana got on their 1983 Canada tour. But he also drew a comparison with his gruelling 11-day visit to Canada with Camilla two years ago which attracted small crowds and modest coverage."

Moreover, the royal insider tells the Mirror that Charles "is now seeking a makeover to attract more fans."

Another Royal expert speculates that "Charles felt overshadowed by Diana and now it seems he feels overshadowed by their son."

Given that context, maybe his reaction to the tour isn't so surprising after all?
