The Caribbean still has a way to go until it can be called "gay-friendly," but you'll find the welcome wagon ready for boarding in places like Puerto Rico, St. Maarten/St. Martin, and small islands including St. Bart's, Saba and St. Croix. Also, consider a gay cruise line operated by Atlantis, RSVP Vacations or Olivia, for gals. (Out-and-proud couples should avoid St. Lucia, where homosexuality is illegal and punishable by imprisonment.)
