This is one sport you may not have tried with your partner yet. Or even heard of. On October 8th, 51 couples will be competing at the 12th Annual North American Wife Carrying Championship in Newry, Maine, at Sunday River Ski Resort.
Couples will navigate a regulation-sized, 278-yard obstacle course while the man carries his wife over hurdles and through a trap commonly referred to as the "Widow Maker."
