In my day, you were lucky if you could master the whole 'verbal communication' thing before age 3. But the kids these days -- they're on the social media before they can stomach pureed organic kale!
Perhaps inspired by the precocity of The Royal Foetus, the New Yorker has compiled a list of the best Facebook posts by infants about their parents. Some of our favourites:
"Sasha drives me crazy with her incessant breast-feeding, but it’s all worth it at the end of the day when she smiles at me with her crow’s-feet eyes and coffee-stained teeth."
"Has anyone ever told parents that it’s kind of weird how they watch and listen to us on grainy black-and-white cameras all night? #stalkmuch?"
"Shopping with Mom for new onesies. Still haven’t lost my baby fat. Guess who won’t be looking in the dressing-room mirror today?"
PS Yes, we know they're fake. But you know it's not long till it's a reality -- if we haven't all become robots, that is.
