1985 Hit St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion) Updated For Tim Tebow

British rocker John Parr has updated his 1985 No. 1 hit "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)" to honor Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, who has become one of the most popular athletes in the world.

Parr's song, "Tim Tebow’s Fire", has nearly 600,00 views on YouTube since being uploaded earlier this week.

"I can see a new horizon, Underneath the blazin' sky," Parr sings. "I'll be where the eagle's flyin' higher and higher. Gonna be a man in motion, All I needs my Broncos team. Take me where my future's lyin' Tim Tebows Fire."

Why did Parr choose to rework the song?

"I was inspired by Tim Tebow so I wanted to modify the lyrics...in his honor of the way that he lives his life as being a great example," he says.

Here's the original song (which was written to honor Canadian Paralympic hero Rick "Man In Motion" Hansen)...
