Anne Hathaway and fiance, Adam Shulman, aren't tying the knot until October 2013, but they celebrated their engagement with a quirky party in February.
We always thought Anne had a bit of a bookish vibe, so it's fitting that she threw the bash in a bookstore in New York City.
Guests snacked on vegan fare and Anne displayed her favorite blooms, ranunculus and anemones, in bird-shaped vases.
"Everything was so fun, just like Annie," a friend said of the party.
While there aren't many details about her wedding, the actress told one of her friends that she wants cupcakes, while another friend said she has selected a venue in upstate New York, but "they're keeping it a secret until right before!"
If the engagement party is a hint of what's to come, we're sure the wedding will be filled with Anne's signature mix of class and quirk.
