Any old wedding footage just wouldn't do for Julia and Stuart, the first-ever couple to have their wedding shot with state-of-the-art 3D technology.
Their Montecito, CA nuptials were captured with the same technology that was used for The Hobbit and Prometheus.
As Peter Chang, the project's principal photographer, told MailOnline: "This wedding is the first to be shot in 5K resolution 3D using the 5K RED Epic camera."
Sound like gibberish? Basically, 5K RED Epic is an advanced, IMAX quality version of 3D.
Chang continues, saying that they wanted to achieve "a flowing narrative and sweeping scale to the proceedings - the ultimate futureproof mementos of this special day, to be enjoyed on the latest technology for decades to come." Neat.
