Yesterday we were introduced (via the Internet) to Emily Hartridge, a YouTube sensation whose wry commentary on everything from why women love bad boys to why you shouldn't have plastic surgery is as dryly humorous as you would expect from a born-and-raised Brit.
Every week, she posts a new "10 Reasons Why..." video where she attempts to prove that "everything in the world can be explained with 10 reasons." The latest subject of her scrutiny? Ten reasons why you shouldn't get married.
Some of Emily's reasons for not getting hitched include:
"No one likes to be told what to do."
"The fact that you're only going to be with one person for the rest of your f*cking life."
"The infrequency of sex" in marriages.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on this; marriage isn't for everyone, after all. Do you think she makes some valid points in her rant? Do you know people who don't want to get married for some of the same reasons that she addresses in the video?
