It's official: After many months of guessing and speculating, it has been confirmed that the fashion icon Valentino has created a custom bridal gown for Anne Hathaway to wear on her wedding day.
The Les Miserables actress has worn many Valentino designs on the red carpet and the two have a close bond outside of the fashion world.
"She's like my daughter!" Valentino told reporters on Thursday night at the New York City Ballet Fall Gala after confirming that he "did the dress" for the actress's big day.
Shortly after Anne and her fiance, Adam Shulman, announced their engagement last December, Valentino seemed to hint that he would design her gown.
"I'm so happy for Anne. And I would do my best creation for her," he told People. "She's a lovely person. She wears the clothes very, very well. So I would do something special."
We've have no doubt that she'll be a spectacular bride sporting a spectacular gown!
