I have always adored Jenny Packham's glam 1930s-inpsired aesthetic, so it's no surprise that I was ecstatic to attend her runway show in New York City last week. The show was held in a salon-style room in the St. Regis hotel, a venue that perfectly complemented the collection's Parisian flair. Classical music poured through the speakers as models sashayed down the runway, the intricate beading on their dresses dazzling under the spotlights. I loved the models' crimped hair and bejeweled headpieces; the gowns' delicate lace appliques and beadwork; and the mix of ivory, pewter and gold fabrics. But my favorite part about a Jenny Packham gown? The incredibly sexy and detailed backs that ensure a bride turns heads from every direction. Scroll down to see highlights from the designer's spectacular Spring/Summer 2013 runway show.
